CARTRIDGE STEALER #1 Posted October 7, 2011 So, one of the girls im seeing tells me her father had a super nintendo and her mom was going to throw it out because he passed away. She had me in mind and called me and asked if I wanted it. I said "HELL YES!" She bought it over that same night and this is what it was:
Mirage #2 Posted October 7, 2011 I hope the call was better than the haul.
OldSchoolRetroGamer #3 Posted October 7, 2011 Nice bonus lol
Chuplayer #4 Posted October 7, 2011 As the guy who turned down talking to a girl to play Galaga at an arcade... You should've played the proverbial Galaga machine. But I guess the console itself isn't bad.
Lendorien #5 Posted October 7, 2011 Well, at least you got the SNES.
high voltage #6 Posted October 7, 2011 What is it with moms and wanna throw everything away? Are they nuts by nature? Nice lot of puzzle games you got there.
SlowCoder #7 Posted October 7, 2011 Not exactly the best haul, but for free, who's complaining?
BenG76 #8 Posted October 12, 2011 As long as you got a booty call and the SNES stuff I would say you did good.
Tr3vor #9 Posted October 12, 2011 For some reason, I actually like playing family feud every once in a while.
Shephda #10 Posted October 12, 2011 Wow, So let me be the first to say, sorry for the loss of her father. Second, nice little haul. Any time you can get a free console system and games is good. Enjoy!
Cynicaster #11 Posted October 13, 2011 Looks like the console has been marinating in coffee, but free is free.
kelrodjr #12 Posted October 20, 2011 For free, you did well. Except for Home Alone 2. And the console could definitely use some retrobright.
Shawn #13 Posted October 23, 2011 So was she all yellow and worn out too?
nathanallan #14 Posted October 23, 2011 Not bad, and the girl is a nice bonus Sorry for her Father, too.
godslabrat #15 Posted October 26, 2011 I dunno if I'd rag on those games... they're not rare, and I wouldn't call any of them classics of the era (maybe Zoop), but many are reasonably solid titles for what they are. I frequently fire up SNES Monopoly because A) I love the game and B) few people will play against me in real life. If I were just starting out SNES collecting, I would be happy with this, provided the price were right. That said, dude, you need some Mario, Metroid, Zelda, fighting games, and racers STAT!!! AtariBrian #16 Posted October 28, 2011 well as for the games and all... great score !!!
Zing #17 Posted October 30, 2011 I grew up with Super NES and I am only 35. I hate to think that a gamer my age died somewhere. It reminds me of how my life is halfway over. That said, that would make you around 18, assuming this guy had his daughter when he was that age as well?
