José Pereira #1 Posted October 17, 2011 (edited) Following someone suggestion: ... and talk about the weather instead. It's cold, grey and a bit foggy here, but it might lighten up soon. how's it for everyone else? I win. 30degrees here on a totally clean blue sky (and even more in some places) in October it's one of the hotest for a long time... andym00 #2 Posted October 17, 2011 Great idea, a my weather is better than your weather thread 4C this morning, lovely blue sky, but to have gone from 30C to 4C in 2 weeks is shocking to the system
José Pereira #3 Posted October 17, 2011 On the last days was 30 and even more in some places, today they say 28degrees but normally it goes 1or2 more... The next days aren't bad: http://www.meteo.pt/pt/cidadeprev10dias.jsp
Rybags #4 Posted October 17, 2011 Anywhere around 1-9 at night. Days getting up to around 17-25. Summer not far away, the dreaded 15-20 nights and 35-40 days don't do anything for me.
JayoK #5 Posted October 17, 2011 Well after our warmest October on record, today sees temperatures dipping to 7C - not too low, but the RAIN. It's absolutely bucketing outside!
sack-c0s #6 Posted October 17, 2011 looking out the window the clouds seem to be moving faster than the cars... but we are talking about the M25, so that doesn't mean too much

popmilo #8 Posted October 17, 2011 ... but to have gone from 30C to 4C in 2 weeks is shocking to the system That is what is happening to me too I was in short trousers and t-shirt just couple a weeks ago Now, some cold front from north came and for tomorrow they announced -4 C !!! That is just too cold... Only reasonable thing left to do is sit by computer with cup of tea and think about 8bit code.... Hmm..... not a bad idea
Tezz #9 Posted October 17, 2011 Weather is terrible here today, stormy with high winds, very heavy rain and cold. A good excuse for staying home in front of the computer although it's hard to concentrate when you keep wondering if the next gust of wind is going to take the roof with it. But at least we can enjoy the Sun... Edited October 17, 2011 by José Pereira

emkay #14 Posted October 18, 2011 Now, some cold front from north came and for tomorrow they announced -4 C !!! What's a -4C ? I guess you mean -4°C.... It's Degree, because it is an artificial measurement with a defined range. It's the Kelvin scale , using the calculated absolute zero point, when every smallest particle doesn't move. So degree isn't to be named. So 269 K , would fit well Btw: There is no bad weather, just bad clothes ...

London with Blue sky isn't it a good thing? Only went there one time and it was in July and London and all other England places (almost a week) and I didn't remember to see the sun or the sky. London's fog it's very well known all over the World and that's what I first get when I left the train... Strange that I cannot explain why, but it is something different than other Fog's I get on other places. Something that Bristish Fog have that others don't
sack-c0s #19 Posted October 18, 2011 I'm just outside the M25 at the moment and it looks great through a double-glazed window - you just wouldn't want to actually go out there

It seems something like IC19 here: But probably nothing like this, don't know where it is: I think the authorities have to always say the truth :

Something that Bristish Fog have that others don't London isn't too bad for seeing a blue sky, its much worse when you go to the North of England, all you see up there is grey clouds day in day out, reminds me of Northern Ireland where I'm from originally, almost every day was cloudy and wet, summer was when there was a break in the clouds I'm just outside the M25 at the moment and it looks great through a double-glazed window - you just wouldn't want to actually go out there Don't, its bloody nippy out there, just limped around to get my prescription, wow there was a bite in the wind..Pretty tho..
