Where to find 50hz boot disk for STE for NTSC TV

Recommended Posts

I've read somewhere there is a program that forces 50hz on a STE with a standard NTSC (60Hz) TV (analog). What is it called and where can I find it?

You can find software to set a ST to 50 or 60Hz here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/187692-best-atari-st-games-that-were-released-in-the-us/page__view__findpost__p__2372287

I don't know what you mean by 50Hz on a 60Hz TV. When you witch the ST to the desired HZ your TV / monitor has to support that mode.

I was a little confused about it. I thought on a NTSC 60 Hz TV the program would stop screen from rolling-but it didn't. However I hooked up the STE to a digital TV and somewhat surprised a game in 50Hz would not roll but a small portion of the bottom of the screen would get cut off.
