Mxyzptlk #2 Posted October 19, 2011 Great topic B. The three other systems I enjoy are: #1 N64, Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye are great. #2 Gamecube, Resident Evil 4 probably the best game (other than Adventure) that I have ever played. #3 NES, Shadowgate got me hooked on this system.

AlvinKarpis #6 Posted October 19, 2011 On the NES my favorite game is Super Mario Bros 2 You mean Doki Doki Panic right? I'm kidding, as I like SMB2 the way we ever known it I hate that stupid japanese SMB2 .... too much hardcore if you ask me That was the right move for NoA back then I have much love for Doki Doki Panic! And I agree 100% SMB2 is the one I grew up with and the one I love I love SMB3 and I really like SMB1, but for me SMB2 is just the one that I played the most and the one that I enjoyed the most, I loved being able to pick between Mario, Luigi, Toad and Princess, and it was awesome that they all had different strengths and weaknesses I think thats what set the game apart from all the other NES games that I owned and had played at the time Plus I got SMB2 right when it was released
+cmart604 #7 Posted October 19, 2011 Hmmm. Cool topic. Besides the CV, my other favs are: 1) Intellivision (those who know me probably know this ) -first system I got as a kid, I love so many games on it and I have a ridiculous collection as a result of trying to re-live my youth. 2) 2600 - many classic games, so many great homebrews 3) 7800 - I didn't experience this back in the day, but I've come to appreciate it in the last 5 years or so. Great games being produced for this as well as the XM module which I'm looking forward to as well 4) Wii - my son and I enjoy playing Lego games on the Wii, lots of good ones 5) PS3/PS2 - for the rare moments I have time to play and want something a wee bit more advanced than the CV/INTV/2600/7800

RelliK111 #10 Posted October 19, 2011 (edited) For me 1 Colecovision (River Raid and Quest for Quintana Roo plus so many more to list plus I'm Homebrew Crazy!!! ) 2 Sega Gen (my first hardcore system that I truly loved besides the Colecovision plus this was the first video game system that had blood in its games and it blew me away! I thought it was so cool when I was a kid ) 3 Sega Saturn (1st system I paid my own money for) 4 Sega Dreamcast(god I still love this system for so many reasons) 5 SNES (Super Castlevania still one of my Fav games) 6 NES (this was hard because I love so many games on this like punch out and Castlevania sometimes this goes higher on my list but other times not so much, I do really like Battle Kid for a new game on the nes and when Battle Kid 2 comes out this will go back higher on my list ) 7 Xbox (so much you can do with this system its crazy! MAME play almost anything its great! Plus Steel Battalion is one of my all time fav and Halo of course ) 8 Xbox 360 (Alot of times this goes higher because I love XBLA!!) 9 Atari 2600 (Sometimes goes higher on my list I loved Sea Quest and I still love the Atari sounds more than anything about this system) 10 Sega CD (Has some really great games and I wanted this system so bad when I was a kid but never got it until much later) I could just keep going but I'll stop at 10 fun topic though Edited October 19, 2011 by RelliK111
Mendon #11 Posted October 19, 2011 My three favorites: 1) Saturn - Sega was so innovative with NetLink gaming, the NiGHTS controller, Internet browsing, and great games like the Shining series and Panzer Saga. And importing games opened whole new worlds. 2) Dreamcast - incredible games from start to finish and once again Sega was innovative with online gaming, Typing of the Dead, Shenmue, and Seaman. And those Japanese imports.... WOW! 3) Atari 800 - yes, it's a computer and it was my first step into home computing. But it was a games powerhouse with everything from Apshai, Bard's Tale, Shamus, ton's of arcade classic's, typing in games from the magazines, and.... STAR RAIDERS!!!
