Keywiz or I-PAC? I need USB as well as ESC button

I am thinking of making a new arcade MAME machine but the computer I'll be using only accepts USB into it. I read online that the Keywiz does not support USB but they have a solution using the Gamepad option.

 

That's all fine and good but my machine will need me to hit the Esc button a few times (no I can't remap the option to be another key, it has to be Esc) and Gamepads send control signals but I don't think they can send the key command for the Esc button.

 

I looked at the I-PAC as well and I see the I-PAC 2 FS32 version does do USB.

 

Has anyone used this? Or got a better recommendation for my project?
