Super Mario Pinball Gottlieb 1992- I want one.

Hey just wondering in anyone near NY has one of these to sell/trade. I am very interested in one and could pay a reasonable cash price or offer excellent trades. Let me know thanks. Only looking for the full-sized pinball.

I had one for a short time...... they are absolutley beautiful. Mine stopped working and the pinball repair guy wanted it so bad I ended up trading it for a virtual on dual cabinet. I should have kept it in retrospect. they are very coveted in the pinball community. I would actually rather own the smaller mario pinball(its 3/4 size and yellow).....

takes up alot less room, but its still a legit pin

Still looking for one. I have a place near me that has one for sale but it's worn pretty good. I had settled on $1250 delivered with them but as I was testing it the ball kept getting stuck in the playfield and the flippers would stop responding for no reason. They tried to sell me it not working properly stating they would send it out and have it gone through by a "pinball wizard" and it would be under warranty but I don't have a way nor the desire to haul this back and forth.

 

I offered $800 as is but they declined. Not really too excited about buying this from them as they appear to have no clue about pinballs I think they specialize in juke boxes. While I was testing it the ball kept getting stuck and the guy was prying it out of the playfield w/ a screwdriver. Then the two guys were disagreeing on what the problem was.

 

Anyhow should have just paid $1200 back 4 years ago when one popped up on craigslist in great condition.

It's a fun game for fans of the original games. Not the deepest pin out there and those Gottlieb flipper bats are kind of wonky, but the game does have a variety of shots and upper playfields are always nice. I wouldn't mind eventually owning one, at least for a little bit. Will this be your first pin?

Yes. I mainly want it for a display piece to go w/my game room. I would definitely play it but I want it for display. So the pinball gameplay quality isn't as important to me as the artwork.
