Progress!

Mmmh... thanks, Al. Looks to me like we need to reduce the red just a little bit... what do you think?

Also, I got the package in the mail today -- extras look great! Very nice visuals.

Cheers

:P I rest my case.

Me too! :P

Now that you're both rested, how about finishing this game?

Since Al has built the first cartridge I guess it's done.

I can get all the cartridges built in advance and when the game binary has been "finalized" I can then flash all the cartridges with the latest software. :)

So, that first cartridge is not technically "done". But, yes, it does have a Boulder Dash circuit board and it does play Boulder Dash when I plug it into a 2600!!

I may be as bad or worse than either of you. ;) Example: I love the label in the render, but don't like the one in the photo... too much red as Andrew said (maybe jokingly?). hehe

That could be a number of issues: 1) the printer may need adjusting 2) the lighting the photo was taken under 3) the wood background causing the camera to improperly white balance.

True, I thought of including those explanations in my post but decided against it, as I felt it would detract from the overall anality.

I thought I made up a word there with "anality," but I just looked it up and it's in the Mirriam-webster dictionary! :)

The waiting it killing me. Feels like Duke Nukem Forever all over again. :)

I can assure you, this will be no "Thrust+ Combat Pack 2" :)

Coding is done and resulting cart currently reviewed by FSS, boxes are done and on their way, manual is in the final stages,

I have realistic(?) hopes for a start of shipping this month. Then it should go pretty fast.

I received a teaser batch of finished Boulder Dash boxes in the mail today! Just snapped some photos, along with a Boulder Dash cart for comparison. :)
