Maybe this one is more rare? it has a black and white manual and i also have a color manual but its not the original for this game. The black and white one is its original. Small bend on game lable can probably be glued back down easily but im not going to do it. ill leave it up to the buyer. Looks like its only flaw. And booklet manual looks great.

"I have a few but im seeing what other may offer first."

That sounds like you are saying you have a few copies of the game. Whatever it means, it isn't clear. Maybe try that again.

Put a price on it and say or best offer. People on AA such as myself don't care to be told we are lowballers when we make offers.

It has happened time and time again, to the point where most won't even respond to an offer ad.

Atari2600.com has a price guide with average sales for eBay over the last 7 years. When I make offers on CIB 2600 stuff I base it on that.

Give or take a few bucks for worse, or better than average condition. I'd call this about a 6.5 out of 10 for condition.

I'd offer $30 if I wanted this, based on a history average sales price of $35.80 and deducting a bit for condition.

Were it in mint condition, I'd maybe go $40, especially if I wanted it.

Just a little insight since no one has been really showing much interest here.

Best of luck,

AX

thanks for your input. i listed it on ebay. My highest offer from this site was $150. The thing where i said i have a few was meaning i have a few offers not copies. Im sorry if i offended anyone im not here to do that. This is a great site and brings back alot of memories of playing my games as a kid. The games i had as a kid are the only ones i plan on keeping.

he has a few offers...posted it forsale here..then made another sales list for the item here...sounds like a double posting for something I already have, but my offer $60 bucks! you say your highesgt offer from this site is $150..why not just sell it for the $150 and delete both your posts?

$150 sounds a bit high for this game.....even as it is boxed...

IMHO, it's kind of weak to come into an Atari forum and say "make me an offer" on a game...then, after taking offers all day, put it up on e-pay...not to mention, you put it on eBay with a starting price based on the "highest offer" you received here.

No offense intended here...It's your cart, so you can handle things how you like. I'm just saying that you might not get any more folks feeding you with estimated pricing after that one.

(PS: I didn't submit an offer, as I already have this game.)

Ax got exactly why I thought you had more. As for the offer, I doubt it. Should have taken it if you really got one.

Actually, that would be right on the money (so to speak), provided the condition was a bit better. The thing about the Xonox single-ender carts is that the boxes are very valuable.

Okay so I stand corrected, atari2600.com doesn't show the stand alone in CIB, just cart only. $35.80 is the price for the combo double ender. I still don't actually want or need it. Just wanted to clarify the position. If he wanted $150 to start, then put $150 OBO... not make an offer and then play a guessing / offending each other game. People will realize they don't want / can't afford and move on. Those who like the price or want to take a shot at it have something to go on. Some sites require posters to put something down for price, not just make an offer. Rules are kinda dumb, people should self regulate when it is just good policy (without having to be told to do it).

Also, i did make so many posts on it because everyone kept telling me different places to put it instead of where it was. sorry im new to this site. Thanks for the many of you with encouraging posts. Sorry to the offended members. Also i have come to realize the box is the key factor here not necesarily the game. I hope i got a fair price for the ghost manor as i did sell that to a member on here who will speak up if they want.

B&W manuals for the most part came with the single ender games, and the color manuals were packed with double enders. Not the rule but for the most part what I have found. I have the value of this game in good condition at $150 boxed complete in Classic 80's home Video games. $150 not a far fetch in this condition.

I should get that book at some point. What did you base the data on? Personally, sometimes there are holes I just couldn't know based on available online data.

Based it on having seen 100+boxed xonox games for sale and opened a few new ones over last 20 years. You have had the book in your hands 3 different times over last few years and you never wanted to spend $15 on a 400 page book! You will never get one at this point. HA

Meh, books... they are so... booky. Give it to me backlit, LOL. Guess I am a walking contradiction. If a game isn't physical I won't buy it (no D/L content for me) but if a book isn't digital I won't read it. Granted, yours has pretty pictures, and I think glossy pages. I hate the feel of traditional books, like fingernails on a chalkboard. You never know. I have to stop coming to MGC broke, or I'm going to have to buy the darn thing FIRST before I get going on the games purchases. You did buy a Bloomin' Onion that my son and I enjoyed... I think the least I can do is buy your book

Classic 80s Home Video Games is a fairly good resource as far as printed guides go. Between it, the atari2600.com sales guide (in need of some updating now), and what I see on eBay and other internet sites, I can get a reasonably accurate picture of what the fair market value is for something in good condition (and then go down or up as appropriate).

I did buy Ghost Manor from Aaron and found him very easy to deal with and communicative in our PMs.

I have to say I LOVE the book! Kudos on a job well done with this one.

Off Topic AXE-- but its now out of print but it just came out E-Book but I have not seen it on ereader yet to see if it looks good.

Even better. My wife is the e-reader person in the house. So I can just ask her to tell me the price ;)

Yeah, odd that aari2600.com doesn't show the single in the box. Your brain sees the loose one and then the next listing is CIB (I assumed it was the single). would be great to have another practical reference. You certainly have been collecting longer than I have.
