thegamezmaster #1 Posted November 4, 2011 Had problems with some discs in these where they mark the disc surface. Tried cleaning them both, they work better but still make a whining type noise when using a disc. Anyone else run into this or know what's wrong? Thanks.. Oge #2 Posted November 5, 2011 Some floppies have this kind of issue. Also experienced with 3,5" ones. When I heard strange noises coming from a worned diskette, it could be a strong deterioration of the magnetic surface: I bin it. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
