(Please Ignore. Solved.) Anyone recognize this game from the description?

"I've been (re)playing a lot of the adventure games I grew up with and it made me think about this game I played at a friend of my father's place when I was a kid (I'm guessing I was 10 - 13 years old so beginning 90s.).

What I remember most about the game was the copy protection, there was a colour print of jeans with paint spots in the manual and when the game started you saw a black and white picture of the jeans and you had to fill in a few of these spots with the right colours.

What else I remember of the game is quite vague, I have images about starting in a window cleaner cart outside of a big building and you saw something.

That's all I remember and I really want to replay this game because somehow I do remember I quite enjoyed it, can anyone make sense of my very vague description?"

EDIT: I think I found it. "Future Wars".
