cOLeCoHiTMan #1 Posted November 16, 2011 Is there anyone that can Pin or Stick the FAQS for n00bs? i.e. What is the list of games? Yurkie's information for his services. What are homebrews and where can we get them. What are the best CV websites? You should be able to find by searching as I saw in the one discussion, but I only see one pinned topic here about auctions. Surely a few more would kill redundant questions? NIAD #2 Posted November 16, 2011 I, and many other, would like to see a couple things "PINNED", but unfortunately it hasn't happened yet. Here is Yurkie's profile page. Usually people will leave links that show up in the "footers" of their messages... so that's always a good place to look. http://www.atariage....r/23318-yurkie/ "Homebrew" is just a word used to descibe a cartridge or rom release and the developer/distributor is working out of their home on their own free time... there is not some large company like Coleco or Atari behind the development and release. See the other thread you started for a bunch of links that have been posted. Here is a Collector's Rarity List that I have been maintaining and that I need to spend some time updating it. Ikrananka #3 Posted November 16, 2011 Posts can only be pinned by someone who is moderator of the particular forum(s) in question. The moderators for each forum used to be listed at the bottom of each forums topic list, however since AA was upgraded the moderator list doesn't seem to be shown anymore. Best bet would be to compile a list of topics that should be pinned and then send a PM to Albert.

I read every post posted... some days I check every 10 min for new posts for 8 hours at a time... a lot of time I just don't have anything to say though... The CV/ADAM Forum has a tendency to be all or nothing at times, but that doesn't mean that interest is diminishing or anything as the online visitors list always has a couple members or visitors listed when I check. Activity in the forum always jumps when a new game is released as well... for obvious reasons. As the old saying goes, "Somedays peanuts, somedays shells".

Yep, you're right Jim .... sometimes things are slower on this forum but CV fans always get back to see if there's something new
