Skunkboard problem, please help

I tried the connection on 2 computers

a desk computer and a laptop

 

skunkboard in a jaguar console off

plug usb into computer

turn jag on

green screen

and nthing on the computer side

it doesnt detect the usb connection

the power supply of the jag is an official european one

what can I do?

I'm going to assume that you have loaded the drivers onto the PC? If the drivers are installed correctly the Jag should be recognised on power up if I remember correctly! If still no joy, maybe change the USB cable, they have had a load of those not working for some reason.

I had the same problem. Skunk wasn't detected by my PC. I replaced the USB cabel shipped with Skunk and everything was working flawlessly...

problem resolved

it was a faulty USB cable

the one provided with the Skunkboard

 

a bit lame, that they dont bother cheking that....

I don't know what happened with those USB cables, but from our perspective buying 100 USB cables that should function flawlessly isn't something we would normally test before sending. I apologize for it, and would be happy to try to work out a solution if you contact us about it.

I don't think anyone is really bothered about the cables. I'm sure most people have a dozen or more hanging around the house. The important thing is you brought us the skunk boards and without a single failed unit
