VicViper #1 Posted November 24, 2011 If you haven't played it yet, do it. Games like this are why I got into 800, there are alot of great games no one has ever heard of. every once in a while when sifting through a ton of roms you find a gem like this. There's so much going on, and there is even a different song at the end of every level! I couldn't find any video of the A8 version on youtube, just the far inferior C64 and Apple II versions. Mclaneinc #3 Posted November 24, 2011 One of my all time faves, still has the 'one more go' appeal it had at launch. Gets really hectic later on but gaming goodness...

Yes, this is an awesome game, just get the full disk side version, as the file is not difficult at all, if I remember correctly. I think there's less stuff in the file version, believe it was due to a bad crack or something ...
+therealbountybob #6 Posted November 25, 2011 Yes the file versions are all easier - the copters don't fire at you, still a very good game either way  we played Wavy Navy in the HSCs "Up the Creek" paddles games round earlier this season. Everyone welcome to join in, we get through a variety of games old new, good bad, obscure and homebrews too
Charlie_ #7 Posted January 13, 2013 Bumping an old thread. Has anyone been able to make a file version of Wavy Navy from the ATR at Fandal's site? http://atari.fandal.cz/detail.php?files_id=3420 Would be nice to have the proper version as part of the compilation sets.
