Stuck on Star Odyssey...HELP! (genesis homebrew game)

Recommended Posts

Okay, my Star Odyssey finally arrived the other day. Have had a chance to play for a few hours and I'm stuck early on. I am at the point (*CAUTION SPOILERS!!!) where you are supposed to get on the flight with the girl but the "esp voice" tells you to not go on the plane. You then get your ticket taken and are not allowed in the airport. I am assuming you need to find "Gaz" to help you fly through the galaxy but I am stuck at this point. The hints I have found are to find a pilot and ask "Gatz" for help to leave the planet. Anybody else actually playing this instead of just collecting it? If so, what the heck do I do next?

If memory serves, the person you need to find is in a warehouse -- or maybe that's later? In any event I don't remember having to do anything unusual to get past this point -- it was a matter of talking to every single person, and eventually it all worked out.

Later in the game there are a couple trickier puzzles. The one that adds the last member to your party is especially diabolical, since it involves doing something that you've never had to do in the game until that point. But I don't think this one was a "gotcha!" puzzle.

Hmmm, I'll give it another go. Do you by chance remember if the person I am looking for is in DEW city or do I need to do some back tracking? I swear I've talked to everyone, but I may not have combed through the other towns as finely as I could have. If it was the late 80's all over again I wouldn't have as much trouble spending hours figuring out this stuff but since I am limited to an hour or two a week getting stuck this early on can be a little frusterating, especially since I figure I'll have to do some heavy grinding anyways to level up/etc, lol. I will say the game so far has drawn me in though, I definetily want to see what happens :)
