DungeonMaster (aka "Dungeon Slayers") for the Lynx?

This has probably been discussed to death but I thought I'd ask...there is this

line in the Wiki for DungeonMaster (the ST game):

"There exists a prototype for the Atari Lynx under the name Dungeon Slayers"

Is that true? Could it be finished? Playing EOTB had gotten me curious about

this. :)

Thanks all.

According to a review done on Atari User Issue 3 Vol 1, Dungeon Slayers a prototype does exist but it has not been released; however, there may be someone working on it for release. Several issues of AU cover some of these "lost titles" for the Lynx. Well worth reading. You can check out the articles on the magazine: http://www.atariuser.com/#

Anyone want to fix it up and make it work? As it is, it's a 4-player ComLynx MIDI-maze that requires the EEPROM to save the maze levels. I have source code.

So, it is not actually a port of Dungeon Master, but kind of a multiplayer spin-off? This explains the name change.

It´s great to hear you have the source, I tried to get info about the game but to no avail.

If you would release this, and our gifted coders here at AA can fix it this could be awesome! With the source, depending on how complete the version is, it could even be expanded/completed maybe?
