Mayhem #6 Posted December 7, 2011 Yeah, it's odd, two people go to convert the same Flash game at pretty much the same time, without knowing each other is working on it until fairly close to completion. C64anabalt is the competition entry for the 16k C64 cartridge contest, the other Canabalt conversion was done by Mr SID, who recently released the Prince of Persia conversion. amiman99 #7 Posted December 7, 2011 (edited) Looks like C64anabalt is NTSC and it works very well on real C64. It's pretty fast and you need so good reflexes to complete the game. I like the fact that the game is random and you can't just memorize the pattern. I like the music on youtube video better, does anyone know when I can get that version? Edit: got it!! TMR #8 Posted December 7, 2011 Canabalt, a parkour running game for iOS, has been ported to the Commodore 64. The video is C64anabalt, one of a dozen new C64 games released in the last month. Yeah, it's odd, two people go to convert the same Flash game at pretty much the same time, without knowing each other is working on it until fairly close to completion. It's not really that strange, Mr SID originally wrote the bulk of his version about a year back and was waiting on music so put it to one side - he finished it off recently to fter hearing about C64anabalt just to get it out into the wild.
