Alex DeBate
I've decided to try my hand at 2600 Programming. No, I've never worked with a game before, so it'll be relatively new to me.I was told that this was a reliable community, so I'm going to put some eggs in this basket. I just wanted to introduce myself, so-uh-yeah... I'll just stick around for a while.
+Random Terrain
Are you doing it the hard way: http://www.randomterrain.com/atari-2600-memories.html#assembly_language Or the easier way: http://www.randomterrain.com/atari-2600-memories.html#batari_basic http://www.atariage.com/forums/forum/65-batari-basic/
Alex DeBate
The easy way. I'm actually following this guide: http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-an-Atari-Game/#step1 I'm definitely going to use Batari, at least for now. +Random Terrain
The easy way. I'm actually following this guide: http://www.instructa...ari-Game/#step1 I'm definitely going to use Batari, at least for now. That guide looks out-of-date. Doesn't seem to mention the Harmony cart: http://www.randomterrain.com/atari-2600-memories-harmony-cartridge.html http://www.randomterrain.com/atari-2600-memories-batari-basic-commands.html#harmony It also doesn't seem to mention Visual batari Basic: http://www.randomterrain.com/atari-2600-memories-batari-basic-vbb.html http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/123849-visual-bb-1-0-a-new-ide-for-batari-basic/
Alex DeBate
Odd... I found the Visual Batari Basic through it. Anyway, any recommendations?
