Ranthulfr
Now that we have cool ports of games like Ladybug, Halo, and Boulder Dash, what other games would you like to see on the Atari 2600? I'm thinking of: * Rally X * Alien Syndrome
GameGirl420
Zookeeper!!!!! Also a port of Defend the Terra Attack on the Red UFO would also be nice. Rare arcade game from '79.... Also... Cosmic Alien,Super Bug, Canyon Bomber, and ....Tugboat(lol I used to love playing that game at Chuck E Cheese.)
+save2600
Donkey Kong 3 would be nice to see on the 2600.
PFL
Galaga 90. My favourite shmup of all time. I reckon the 2600 could do a fair approximation.
Zach
Zork. Interface with standard controllers is a problem though.

PFL
Ooh, Scramble! Now there's game. I'd love to see that too. Not so sure about Zork... The text display would kill your eyes!
tremoloman2006
Here are titles I think the 2600 could handle and would love to see created someday: In no particular order: Armor Attack Frenzy Indy 4 Jumpman Pac & Pal New Rally-X Pepper II Rally-X Star Castle* Tetris Zookeeper * I know there is 1 copy of this available but I'm not a millionaire and can't afford it. iesposta
• Armor Attack • Star Castle But not Mappy, can't be done, nope, no way...
brojamfootball
• Armor Attack • Star Castle But not Mappy, can't be done, nope, no way... Mappy would be great on 5200, or 7800.
Inky
, Canyon Bomber Canyon Bomber is already on the 2600. I love the game for some reason. Star Castle* Star Catle, IIRC isn't on the 2600 (unless there's a homebrew I am unaware of), plus Yar's Revenge started out as Star Castle. Tetris There are many homebrew clones available for the 2600 Zookeeper There's a rumor floating around that the 2600 Zookeeper proto has been found. At any rate the sound FX for the 2600 version have been dumped.
VectorGamer
I think for best quality the games suited for the VCS are those released in the 70s and up to about '80 and to a lesser degree '81. Most of the ones Lushgirl mentioned along with stuff like Magical Spot II, Cheeky Mouse, Mad Alien, Death Race and Satan of Saturn. Games like Zoo Keeper - I just don't see how that would fly on the 2600. I'd rather see that on a console with more machine.
bomberpunk
Bomberman. and I think with the Boulderdash engine, it's VERY possible.
maiki
I would suggest the Monaco GP (Sega, 1979) - I think that game might work really well on 2600.
godzillajoe
Galaga Satan's Hollow Moon Cresta Exerion Paperboy Food Fight

+LS650
The Vectrex version of Armor Attack is great... I wonder if the 2600 could do as good a job.
+thegoldenband
Let's see, a few games come to mind: Fire Truck Fire Truck Fire Truck Oh, and Fire Truck too. Otherwise, Tron seems like the big one to me, with the driving controller in port 2 (or some kind of custom controller).
+cvga
Jumpman and Bomberman would be awesome! How about Doodle Jump?
The Usotsuki
Doubt Zork'd work on a 26. With a 78XM and XEGS keyboard...almost certainly doable.
high voltage
Could be done like a mini-Zork which was available on cassette for the C64
Thomas Jentzsch
Paradroid, Fort Apocalypse, (Super) Pipeline, Elite, International Karate, Impossible Mission, M.U.L.E....
