Silntdoogood #1 Posted December 10, 2011 First off, I know the is very bad. It was posted a while ago, and Youtube has diminished the quality, along with I just wasn't all that good at filming, nor knowledgeable at the time. I consider myself a little more versed in hardware since I acquired this two years ago, but I'm still stumped. I don't have a camera with which I can re-record a video, and it's been bothering my lately that I could rebuild my compaq portable, but still don't know what this does. To add a little info to the video: All other cards are the same, they run off an AC current. Each has an individual power switch, a female db25 connection. It has two phone connections with all four lines connected, so it's not JUST for data use, I presume. It can power the lines too (or feed off a power connection?) The LEDs are labled TM AA HS OH SD RD TR CD. Thanks for your time -Spence
Prodos8 #2 Posted December 10, 2011 Some kinda of bank of modems? The LEDs are labeled just like those on a modem: AA=Auto Answer, HS=High Speed, OH=Off Hook, SD=Send Data, RD=Receive Data, CD=Carrier Detect ETA: BOCA Research Modem Rack It looks like yours is missing the front cover. Yup, that looks right to me! Thanks for the info & link! I'll have to see what I can do with it now. Maybe I can find a better use than a prop to keep my macro-keyboard up a little higher!
