mtshark7
One of my all time classic games must be UFO! for the Magnavox Odyssey 2. I was wondering would it be possible to have that game ported over onto Atari 2600? Or would there be all sorts of legal issues with it? Since I set this topic up as an open discussion I would like to know is there any games 'exclusive' to other consoles (Magnavox Odyssey 2, Intellivision, Colecovision, etc.) that you always wanted to see on the Atari 2600? Obviously mine's UFO! on Magnavox Odyssey 2....a VERY addicting game.
+Gemintronic
The new Batari BASIC DPC+ kernel handles up to 10 sprites. Pretty sure the score could be done without the extra symbols (->). Missle 0 could be used for the shield rotating your ship. Missile 1 or the ball could be used for your shot.
littleman jack
I think there may be someone trying to make a version for the 7800. I seem to remember a thread a few years ago in the 7800 forums. I also liked Pick Ax Pete on the O2. At one time, John Champeau was working on a version of that for the 2600, or at least mulling it over.
mtshark7
littleman jack: Did they ever end up releasing it for the 7800 or did it die off? I agree Pick Ax Pete is a fun game!
