Thanks man.

Yeah, the reserve is something like that. :ponder: :D

Oh, before people jump down my throat about the NTSC Fatal Run, I paid $18.00,- + shipping for this peticular cart. Nevermind the fact that I spent some serious time figureing out how to make it work, or having to buy the EPROM. TJ, if you read this and this auction goes well, you've got a royalty coming your way. :)

Errm, the first link is to the second page of my auctions, sorry about that.

CPUWIZ - I would love to hear the history of that Xevious cart if you have any info (or other intersting proto stories) - being in CA you have probably seen more protos than anyone- most of us will never see a proto in the 'wild'. How did most of the protos get into people's hands? I would think it is irreplaceable so why would you want to sell it? (don't tell us you have more than one!)

This peticular one came from a relative of an ex-Atari employee so I guess kind of from the wild, except I made sure they were compensated for it properly. :)

I hate to say it bud but if you look on Matt's site (www.atariprotos.com) you can take a peek at the other one I own. 8)

As for other interesting stories, always check out the website I mentioned above, I always try to give new scans and info to Matt. I mean, why run 2 proto websites, right ? :D

CPUWIZ - in your auctions, when it says "You are bidding on a Atari 7800 main circuitboard modified to allow data transfer to and from the PC via parallel port, it has DevOS V0.2 installed" does that mean you can play roms from the internet on it? and also dump games into a rom file on your pc? Or am I just missing the whole meaning of data transfer to and from the pc?

It's Eckhard's OS that allows you to upload binaries to a RAM cart, you can build or dump almost all known cartridge types to your PC with the exception of Tigervision and some other one I can't remember right now.

You might want to give this a read ...
