ShaveAndAHairCut8Bits #1 Posted December 22, 2011 When I had an Atari 800, this Atari 1025 printer worked. Since then, it has done nothing but sit on a shelf, and I no longer have a way to function test it. If you don't know what the 1025 is, it's the dot matrix printer that is styled to match the 1200XL, and I guess the 600XL and 800XL too. 80 columns, 2 SIO ports, built in power supply, blah blah. It's too heavy to make shipping worthwhile, so if you want it, come get it (San Francisco Bay/Oakland, US) area, and in exchange, you can give me a micro SDHC card, any capacity, or $10 so I can buy a six pack of good beer. I would normally give something like this away to someone who will take care of, and hopefully, use it, but these days, electronics recyclers are quick to jump on items like this and will smash it to bits in order to get fifty cents worth of gold and copper. If a printer survived for 30 years in working condition, certainly it deserves to continue existing. On top of that, you get a Missile Command cart and some random ephemera, mostly old game manuals and disks that may or may not still be readable. You can e-mail me directly if you're interested at l o t r o j o e (at) g m a i l (dot) c o m. Obviously, strip out the spaces to get a usable address.
