Cupcakus #4 Posted January 14, 2003 Hozer was selling carts too :-) It's not bad! I have played it... 2p would be cool too :-)
MegaManFan #5 Posted January 14, 2003 Hozer was selling carts too :-) It's not bad! I have played it... 2p would be cool too :-) The description on the site implies it's unfinished, and the listing doesn't have a copyright date. That leaves two questions - when was it first released and is it still being worked on?
Rob Mitchell #6 Posted January 14, 2003 I know how to play the game Yahtzee .. but how do you play this 2600 game? How do you select dice? Rob Mitchell, Atlanta, GA
Simon #7 Posted January 14, 2003 I know how to play the game Yahtzee .. but how do you play this 2600 game? How do you select dice? Try using your joystick. IIRC: Push the joystick up to reach the dice selection, left/right to move to wanted dice and Fire to select/unselect dice. BTW: Why does the second screenshot at http://www.atariage.com/screenshot_page.ht...areLabelID=1032 show a sixth dice at the very left border of the screen? I don't remember seeing that when playing the game. Simon
Nukey Shay #8 Posted January 14, 2003 A glitch when taking the snapshot? There's three other dice at the top (possibly a reuse glitch?). "Sixes" is misspelled as well.
moycon #9 Posted January 14, 2003 It's an obvious fake in the Airworld vein. And a terrible one at that. I took the liberty of blowing up the screenshot and this is what I found!!: Discuss amongst yourselves.
Albert #10 Posted January 14, 2003 We'll have to ask Russell Babylon if we can sell this. ..Al
Osmeroid #11 Posted January 14, 2003 @Al - Put me down for a copy! I've never played Yahtzee before so I thought 6 dice were the norm
Nukey Shay #12 Posted January 14, 2003 Nooo...5 dice, like poker. You know, straights, flushes, etc.
Osmeroid #13 Posted January 14, 2003 Nooo...5 dice, like poker. You know, straights, flushes, etc. That probably explains a thing or two about why I found it so difficult to judge when I had flushes & the like Perhaps I should try reading up the instructions sometime....
Nukey Shay #14 Posted January 14, 2003 Yeah, just don't let me teach you. There are no flushes in dice.
Osmeroid #15 Posted January 14, 2003 This is why I don't play cards, I'd be a pauper within minutes!
Nukey Shay #16 Posted January 14, 2003 Not to worry. Yahtzee is fun, and you can still play when you are a pauper from losing all your money (unlike poker). * played strip yahtzee
