Eifel interface processor blues

Hello Guys,

 

Some help is needed.

I'm trying to get an Eifel keyboard interface to work.

The Schematics I took from the website.

And the program I try to use is version 1.10-i.

Processors PIC 18F258 and PIC 18F252.

When I put 1.10-i in them, the oscillator doesn't work. It's set to a wrong value.

So I manually changed address 300001 to 02h instaid of 27h.

Now the oscillator runs. (Scope to test)

But both LED's stay off and the LCD is not initialised.

 

What should I do?

Any experience? Or can I buy a programmed processor from someone. (Without the protection set ! )

Help please.
