What are the best Game/Pawn/Thrift stores in Spokane WA?

Recommended Posts

I am going to be going to Spokane soon and I was wondering what the best stores were for retro games.

Well unfortunately there are none. Goodwill has nothing, the pawn shops have next to nothing... a couple Sega carts and a bunch of Nintendo carts. For years I go every weekend but have NEVER found anything noteworthy. The best thing to do is peruse the Craigslist entries for the Spokane/Couer d' Alene area... but they all usually ask more than the items are worth. As far as I am aware of, there are only 2 AtariAgers in Spokane... myself and Bobtech.

Of course we also have Gamestops, but that's not really retro. We used to have a Trade-A-Games shop that had a bunch of retro stuff but they went out of business like 2 years ago.

I travel through Spokane regularly and always make time for a stop at Trade A Game. It's actually in Spokane Valley and it is a little difficult trying to find off the highway. Some things are a little pricy but they usually have salEs that make it more reasonable. They seem to have just about everything from the NES up. I'm sure they have older stuff too but I that's what I mainly focus on.

Does the Valley TAG still exist? The Division store closed a couple years back.

I was there in September. Not sure if they've closed since then. I hope not. Even though I've only picked up a handful of games from there it's become a permanent stop through the area during my families frequent treks to Seattle.

Sweet, I'll have to check it out. I have heard that Fusion Odyssey in the Valley had games too, but from what I am told they are more modern games http://fusionodessey.com/
