Super Delux All-in-one Cart Console Dream

Recommended Posts

Ever since I started aquiring masses of consoles from thrift stores, I've

wanted to take them all and build a single box with all the old cartridge consoles in one place. It's SICK the amount of space they all take up at the moment, and with a bunch of wire and two copies of every console, you could have the unit itself inside a box, and then a dissassembled second unit (which you would use for wired ports,) so you could have a box with a face that contains all the different cartridge / joystick ports on its face. Of course you would still have to plug all the systems in, and have all their av ports too. big ugly project... but boy would it save space...

well guess no one cares about that, eh? I'll have to try to build it some day just to see if it's as great I dream it is...

I've got my INTV, CV and 2600 adaptor all in a CV case. With an Intellicart and CCart and hopefully a CV multi soon, there's no need to go inside.

It's pretty sweet :)

I wish tha I could be more help here, but I saw some guy online who had built all his retro consoles into a nice aluminum PC case. I think that I saw it on a PC modding site, but there might be some good hints there. It was a very cool all-in-one unit... it just needed some more woodgrain if you asked me. :)
