HatefulGravey #1 Posted January 14, 2012 Seems I have seen a link here before and I can't find it now. Does anyone know where you can get the glasses that work with the original adapter?
fiddlepaddle #2 Posted January 15, 2012 I just got a pair of "new" Sega SMS 3d glasses a few months ago ($10!). but they don't fit my head. I did take the arms off and used rubber bands to hold them on (over my glasses, with some mild pain), and I hear and see the shutters working, but the picture wasn't right. Then I realized I have to go hook the thing up to my regular TV (which is out in the garage in a box) to get a usable picture (my LCD monitor does not work), which I haven't done yet due to basic inertial resistance. Instead, I googled and found this: http://www.smspower....pic.php?t=11840 and this: http://www.digitpres...p/t-143748.html It seems there are modern replacements that would be comfortable, but I still haven't played a 3d game yet... ECWfan #3 Posted January 18, 2012 I bought a pair of shutter glasses off eBay a few months ago. They were made by Asus and designed for a video card. They worked okay with Space Harrier, but on Zaxxon the image was double and hard to play. Can anyone recommend a pair that might work better? I wear glasses and the Sega ones are way too small for me. The Asus ones fit great over my glasses.
Hatta #4 Posted January 18, 2012 I have an official pair of Sega 3d glasses. I still get double images and it's hard to play. I think that's just how the technology is. I don't have any trouble with any other sort of 3d display from magic eye to IMAX, so I think it's just sucky.
