ed1475 #5 Posted January 15, 2012 131,330 This is one of my favorite Intellivision games.
JacobZu7zu7 #6 Posted January 16, 2012 131,330 This is one of my favorite Intellivision games. Damn that's a fine score! 50Ks would be amazing but over 100?!! I hated this game first playing, but I like it after working on it last year... I discovered shooting the farthest "left and right rows" first out, makes for more time to shoot!... by doin this, it takes longer for the Armada to work it's way down, remember.... if they hit the ground, the whole game ends! Maybe ed has an even better method.
cparsley #7 Posted January 16, 2012 Here is my first crack on this, been ages since playing Armada.
JacobZu7zu7 #8 Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) 17,270 Made it to the full invisible rows... or the Blue screen... how the hell does anyone play through it?! I might have passed that level once. FORGOT 1 GREEN BASTARD..! 18,370 Edited January 16, 2012 by JacobZu7zu7
cparsley #9 Posted January 16, 2012 I've rolled the colors before, and know by the score ed has (no other way to have that score)... It is doable, will see if I get the time later this week to try to match ed.
Akito01 #10 Posted January 16, 2012 score = 21,160 Does this screen shot look infected to you? I might have to crack my INTV II open and see if something is going on; maybe a loose connection or solder in my composite mod, or maybe something less fixable. JacobZu7zu7 #11 Posted January 16, 2012 score = 21,160 Does this screen shot look infected to you? I might have to crack my INTV II open and see if something is going on; maybe a loose connection or solder in my composite mod, or maybe something less fixable. Looks like the RF cable has fuzz or there's an interferance from the back of the TV? Hope its only that...
ed1475 #12 Posted January 16, 2012 It's important to have shields remaining especially in the invisible waves. Each time you shoot a boss ship it rebuilds one shield. I try to shoot ships on the right and left sides especially in waves 9 & 10 when the Armada starts out completely invisible. If they shoot at you, they become visible so you can get an idea of where the sides are. When their are only a few invisible ships left, I shoot into one of the shields, the debris above the shield will destroy any ship going thru it. Hope this helps. gezkc #18 Posted January 18, 2012 19,370 A slight improvement, but I'm sure I used to be able to get over 50k on this back in the day. Perhaps that was in practice mode!

IntellivisionGuy97 #25 Posted January 22, 2012 Sorry, I forgot, I have been sick and busy. I've been trying to get it on my actual Intellivision, but the game keeps glitching and crashing. Have you ever seen the entire armada fall on you or see the game continue even though it's the game over screen? There are also many other instances that have happened to me. I will post a score very soon. I hope I get better soon...
