+boxpressed #1 Posted January 16, 2012 In another thread, I mentioned a recent purchase of Coleco sales kits from 1983. I have approximately 80 flyers of Coleco products, including unreleased games. There are eight released Coleco titles for Intellivision; apparently, several more were planned. As I have time to scan them, I will post flyers of the unreleased games here. Here's one to start: Smurf Rescue in Gargamel's Castle.

Yes, I have Looping, Pepper II, Frenzy, Tarzan, and Time Pilot. No screen mock-up for the last two, unfortunately. Here are the rest of them -- enjoy!

+5-11under #11 Posted January 16, 2012 i love how frenzy says the game will really drive you "Berzerk" "Berserk", not "Berzerk". A subtle but important difference, I guess.
+boxpressed #12 Posted January 16, 2012 The Frenzy mock-up looks so cool that I'm going to have to fire it up on the iCade.

townparkradio #15 Posted January 16, 2012 Frenzy... Hmmmm... In the works, I hope? Someone was working on an NES version in the late 90's as I recall. The guy threw a spazz when his rom leaked over IRC, threatened legal action, said he deserved money for sales only and the ROM should not be given out blah blah blah. Turns out the one who leaked the early rom was Alan McNeill (or at least he claims he leaked it) and invited the young man to follow through with his supposed lawsuit. He said he'd love to exchange lawyer information with the homebrewer, as his OWN lawyers would be interested in the guy's motivations for believing he had the legal right to sell Frenzy, which Alan was the sole creator of and still owns partial rights to.
townparkradio #16 Posted January 16, 2012 Oh and Alan didn't actually have a problem with Frenzy being ported to another platform (though some money or at least asking first would have been nice); he had a problem with the homebrewer claiming it was "his" creation and threatening legal actions against others due to what amounted to other people pirating his piracy.

cparsley #25 Posted January 17, 2012 I normally hated anything Coleco on the INTV, but those scans (had they come to fruition (minus the smurf ones) could of possibly changed my mind)
