Tape Drive 410

Hi it me Sean

 

I use to have working 410 tape drive. I have programs my daughter uses. Does any one know where I can get a really good

fully working 410 tape drive. One that loads programs really well and saves.

 

If possible one that is like new in the box still with the book would be great. This is somethng I really need.

 

I have a Atari 800 and do need the 410 drive. Ebay had two but both were untested. One of the advertisement said it was

test then underneath when a buyer wrote in and ask if the drive loaded programs good and saved good.

The seller responded that he had no way to test the drive. Now he said in his ad that it had been tested.

I would rather get it from someone here on atari Age where I can trust people.

A common Hong Kong 410 will almost certainly need new belts to function, then it's good for another 15-20 years. Best Electronics sells a belt kit for it I believe.
