Could the Atari arcade game Rampart be ported over to the 2600 at all?

Not really I think. You could have the enemy ships gather on one side of the screen and have multiple missiles destroying castle walls built with playfield graphics...but the ground troops would probably be out. In the end, the game would probably be too limited to be called Rampart (much like the Robotron discussion).
