jeremysart #4 Posted January 23, 2012 At a local indoor flea market called Taylor Town. I snagged up some decent 2600 games on the cheap there too, as well as a CV River Raid! I was surprised, but then I also scored a boxed Fathom for Intv for $7 back a couple years ago. Uhg, I do regret selling some of my collection off. Goldfish #5 Posted January 23, 2012 Lucky! Commando was one of my favorite games on the C64 and I've been hunting for the 7800 version.

DocEss #7 Posted January 23, 2012 Lucky dog, that's a great deal! Here I thought my $15 Commando was a great score, but you sure beat that by a mile.
rockman_x_2002 #8 Posted January 25, 2012 Sweet. I've always been of the opinion that the 7800 version of Commando was hands-down the best port of the arcade original. The NES was just way too glitchy with soldiers disappearing for no apparent reason, dodgy collision detection, and all manner of graphical hiccups. But the 7800 version was flawless in comparison. Great find!
Agent X #9 Posted January 25, 2012 Yeah, that was one heck of a find in the wild for such a good price. I also agree with rockman_x_2002, in that the 7800 version of the game is outstanding. The graphics and sounds are reproduced nicely, and they even added some gameplay enhancements over the arcade and NES versions.
