SpendTooMuchOnAtari #1 Posted February 13, 2012 I've been looking for this cart for a long time now but had no idea that it would be so expensive. I had a $20 snipe on it and thought I had a chance since the shipping is $10. At the time of this post, it has half an hour left and is at $31.04. That seems like a lot, especially since it's cart only and the hefty shipping cost. Oh well, I'll keep looking.... eBay Auction -- Item Number: 300661466159
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #2 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) $63! Wow, I had no idea. I just found two PAL games that have the same label as Inca Gold... eBay Auction -- Item Number: 400276643693 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 400276643624 Weird! nofrills100 #3 Posted February 13, 2012 The label with the skull waterfall is quite common through taiwan pirates, I have at least ten different titles with it on. As for Zellers Inca Gold reaching $63 - I too am surprised, but admit I am not entirely 'up with it' on Zellers rarities.
AtariLeaf #4 Posted February 13, 2012 The local game store has one and its in the dreaded "glass case" which I joke with the employees is actually the "Atari museum" because no one ever buys any of the grossly overpriced items therein. I'll check again what Inca Gold is selling for there, just for curiosity although if its under $63 and he sees the auction, it may be in need of a price jump
Shawn #5 Posted February 13, 2012 Inca Gold tends to stay around the $50 mark give or take a few bucks either way.
Frostbite Bailey #6 Posted February 13, 2012 As a Canadian; this was the hardest one for me to get; still searching for one complete!
AtariLeaf #7 Posted February 13, 2012 Well I called the game store and they have one and its $25 BUT its missing the end label
atari181 #8 Posted February 13, 2012 Unfortunately I was one of the bidders against you. Can't believe it went that high either.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #9 Posted February 19, 2012 I thought another one would pop up after the first one went so high. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 320852078853
+Omegamatrix #10 Posted February 19, 2012 Zellers loose is not too bad to complete. With loose Zellers carts you can also consider the different end label versions (fat or thin text), cart cases with gripper ridges on the sides, multiple labeled carts, end label misspellings etc... Boxed Zellers is a lot harder.
SpendTooMuchOnAtari #11 Posted February 19, 2012 Yeah, I rarely see any CIB Zellers show up on ebay. My wife is from Canada and her brother goes to a lot of yard sales so I have him on the lookout for any Atari...especially Zellers. He has found me a few but always cart only. dobidy #12 Posted February 20, 2012 The Zellers stuff shows up a lot around here. Dragon Treasure seems to be the most common though. I haven`t seen an Inca Gold for a while. I`ve only found one boxed Dragon Treasure in the last couple of years.
EricDeLee #13 Posted February 21, 2012 Inca Gold was a tough one for me to get and the last one of the Zellers series I needed for my collection. I kept trying to snag it for $35 as well... and that just won't happen. Your best bet for this game, is to find someone that has an extra copy and trade for it. I got mine for a good deal through trades and by using doubles I already didn't care about getting rid of. it was a win win for me and the person I traded with. I don't think I've seen this one dip into the $25-30 range in the 3 years I was looking for it.
