schuwalker #4 Posted February 14, 2012 Very cool game. I just played one at a New Years party and love it! It does use a unique control scheme (Tron-esque joystick and a spinner)....
RelliK111 #5 Posted February 14, 2012 That looks really awesome! That would be great on the Colecovision! Especially with JF's arcade controller! Looks like a ton of fun!
LynxVGL #6 Posted February 14, 2012 Another vote here. I loved Mad Planets back in the Arcades. As far as I can tell, no port exists of this game. Is it even playable on MAME?

+thegoldenband #8 Posted February 14, 2012 Another vote here. I loved Mad Planets back in the Arcades. As far as I can tell, no port exists of this game. Is it even playable on MAME? Yes, I used to play it quite a bit 5-6 years ago in MAME. It plays reasonably well using a two-button rotation scheme -- maybe on higher skill levels you need the instantaneousness of the spinner, but I was able to do OK using SNES-style triggers for rotation. Is there ever any reason to stop shooting in the game? If not, since it's always rapid-fire anyway, perhaps you could use the keypad to toggle autofire on and off, and use the fire buttons for rotation. Just a thought, anyway.
