tomjscott #101 Posted May 7, 2013 (edited) Talking about port, would love to see Tron ported. I second that. Tron would be an awesome game to have on the Colecovision. Edit: Was there ever even a port of Tron arcade to any console system? I don't know of any. Edited May 7, 2013 by tomjscott
sega_SHARK #102 Posted May 17, 2013 I'm sorry, I'm not too familiar with MSX and MSX2 games, but would Metal Gear be possible on the SGM? From what I've figured out, Metal Gear was developed for the MSX, but released for MSX2. Would there be too many colors in the game palate?
Pixelboy #103 Posted May 17, 2013 I'm sorry, I'm not too familiar with MSX and MSX2 games, but would Metal Gear be possible on the SGM? From what I've figured out, Metal Gear was developed for the MSX, but released for MSX2. Would there be too many colors in the game palate? Not without significant graphical editing (mostly to downgrade colours). The SGM doesn't add anything to graphics displayed on the screen, in terms of colors, graphic mode or sprite features. The ColecoVision 2, with its current specs, should be able to do Metal Gear mostly as-is, however.
VGC1612 #104 Posted May 19, 2013 It would be nice to see Phoenix,Bosconian,Galaga,Rally-X and Radar Scope. Why not too a collection of other Pacman's games: Super Pac-Man, Jr. Pac-Man and Pac & Pal
imstarryeyed #105 Posted March 26, 2014 I am voting for pengo. That game never gets enough attention and is such a gem that often was never ported. I would have voted for Jr if pengo was not on the list but I will certainly buy all of them when they are released.
+iesposta #106 Posted March 26, 2014 Pengo wins! (Do not care about statistics. Disregard any polls or totals .) Just be sure to include every different cute song, some machines have different tunes -- "Popcorn" being one of them, and a way to turn off the tune and still have sound effects, please! I need a new arcade game next - Moon Patrol doesn't count, that is not new.
imstarryeyed #107 Posted March 26, 2014 I agree with the person that said Popeye he needs more screens and enhancements. Three always felt like one was missing from the arcade. I could stand for that game to have some new ones and other "goals" along the way. Heck a popeye 2 with the original screens and lots more should be a major enhancement to that game. +opcode #108 Posted March 26, 2014 I am inclined to work on Pengo or DK Jr after DK and Arkanoid. Both are easier option as they use similar hardware as games already ported, hardware I am familiar with...
SiLic0ne t0aD #109 Posted March 26, 2014 Great games so far, looking forward to it! One question though.. Any new, original games out on the horizon for next year maybe? Although not original to the ColecoVision, I still hope to see Zelda on a ColecoVision I believe CollectorVision has dibs on that but im not sure when it'll be released.. Twin_power #111 Posted March 26, 2014 I voted for Dig Dug. I'm still holding out for a Galaga version better than the 7800 and close to the MSX version.
David Alexander #112 Posted April 1, 2014 I second that. Tron would be an awesome game to have on the Colecovision. Edit: Was there ever even a port of Tron arcade to any console system? I don't know of any. Yes, Tron would be great.

kaz321123 #115 Posted April 15, 2014 I would personally love to see either: Karate Champ or Kung Fu Master. I played Karate Champ TO DEATH in the arcade back in the day (I could go all the way through all the 'dans' and back to the first stage a second time). I still can't wait to get my hands on Donkey Kong when it is released. To say I'm excited about it-is an understatement! -Alpha
Pixelboy #116 Posted April 15, 2014 I would personally love to see either: Karate Champ or Kung Fu Master. I played Karate Champ TO DEATH in the arcade back in the day (I could go all the way through all the 'dans' and back to the first stage a second time). There's a ColecoVision homebrew called "The Way of the Exploding Foot" which is a very good karate game: http://www.collectorvision.com/game-wotef.htm I'm not sure what the gameplay differences are between this game and Karate Champ, but it's definitely worth looking into. Anyway, I would prefer to see Kung Fu Master on the CV myself...
Nognir #117 Posted April 16, 2014 I voted for Pengo, because it's a great game and we already saw the other games on so many platforms that Pengo would stand out a bit. since there weren't so many conversions of the game.
nitrofurano #118 Posted May 23, 2014 (edited) about suggestions of msx-1 games to be converted to ColecoVision, i'd suggest these ones as well: - Bouken Roman - Tensai Rabbian Daifunsen - Indian No Bouken - Rambo - Skooter - Temptations - Stop the ITA Express - Alpharoid - Crazy Train - Boggy 84 - The Fairy Land Story - Anaza Kaleidoscope Special - Eggerland Mistery - Macross - Penguin Kun Wars - Nausicaa Edited May 23, 2014 by nitrofurano

nitrofurano #120 Posted June 4, 2014 i can't find it now, but i think somewhere that people here might be interested about the conversion of Batman (MSX version) to ColecoVision? Since this Batman version is actually a conversion from ZX-Spectrum (made in the 80's), as the games from http://msxcas2rom.zxq.net are like this as well, i guess that it seems possible all these ZX-Spectrum games being converted to ColecoVision as well? what do you all think? Pixelboy #121 Posted June 4, 2014 The following are all MSX ports of ZX Spectrum games. A port of any one of these would be a worthy addition to the ColecoVision library: Batman: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyaFewVoR2Q Head over Heels: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qi9oBvwupnw Knight Lore: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fytkxfzsCFc Night Shade: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8SYzPY7lZc Gun Fright: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CrNYOFzlkI
