as i've searched for a bmp2hip converter in C i remember that i have one on my site...so i searched & browse through the webpages and find this:

i wrote this in 1997... nearly 6 years ago... the best is the following quote... "Everybody is coding nowadays on pentium-wintel-PCs. But I like coding on old machines because for me it`s fun to make effects possible on this machine based on a 1,79 mhz 8-bit cpu with only 3 registers instead of coding in c or pascal and then compile it on a 133mhz Pentium-PC.
