This is a first gen iPad. It works great. It comes with an official Apple case (black, pictured), the box, and the power/data cable.

 

The only cosmetic damage to the iPad is a small dent in the metal in the upper left hand corner. This is cosmetic only and in no way affects the glass, the screen, or anything else. In the case,it is hidden and invisible.
