skosh
Hardware set 5200 - this is found in the System menu. Goto Input Mappings found in the Input menu. Here you can pick how you would like to play. Keyboard / Joystick... You can even redefine the default values and it's quite flexible it seems. Here is a screen grab of those windows. Also the default key to start is F2 and = key to cycle through the levels however the default settings are used so no need to change levels. NE146
I've always thought that a good hack for this game would be to put in the "Popcorn" music.. which is the version I grew up knowing in the arcades. It was always odd for me to hear the US version's alternate music when the home ports came out, or when viewing the game on tv via Starcade. On that note, man I can't get past 100k for some reason tonight.. need to try again tomorrow when I'm fresh.

patbb
I had time to play a quick game this afternoon. 130,820 I used the recording tool included in Altira. It gave me a file of about 95mb for 15 minutes of play. The only problem I had was that the directions (arrows) were not working correctly when the game started. After moving in all directions, everything was OK. I have uploaded the video on YouTube. http://youtu.be/yo1Z9_EYP-

After moving in all directions, everything was OK. That seems to be a common thing in all 5200 emulators where you have to "initialize" the joystick in all directions first.. And quite honestly I think it happens in actual 5200's too.. like I recall always having to do a circle movement to get my tank to start pointing correctly in Countermeasure. kenfused
Hmmm the 5200 plays the same sound for crushing a block as when you push it vs the computer version which plays a different sound. The 5200 also seems faster (play and music) and sounds almost sounds more echoey. That may just be a PAL vs NTSC thing and maybe PAL actually plays faster? or emulator thing but I tried looking at several vids on YouTube. It makes more of a difference on timed games.

+therealbountybob
Congrats, realbountybob!!! Great score! my catchphrase is "Crushed you like a fly" unfortunately Zylon (and many others) are crushing me in the A8 HSC's Galaxian  Hey cool I have the Space Dungeon Port too, and it's a fun game, especially fun if you have two of you operating the joysticks at the same time - though you don't usually get very far!!!
