Picked this up at the weekend auction. Anyone played one of these before?

I've only ever played this in MAME, although I seem to remember seeing this cabinet at a local arcade in the early '90s. Is it just me, or is that a very weird CP layout?

 

Also, I watched T2: Judgment Day on Netflix a few weeks ago, and I recall noticing this game in the background during the arcade scene.

One button, per color sitting on the inside of the CP is a "Start" button for multi player buy in. The button to the left of the sticks is the "Punch" button. Mainly set up for right handed players and kind of awkward for lefties perhaps.

I've only played the NES version, but it was a lot of fun. I'd bet the arcade version is pretty good!

I love this game, it's like PacMan with dinosaurs and cave men.

Yeah, I used to play this in the arcade and on NES. It's like pac-man but with power-ups and you can attack. Never got to play a full 4P game.

Used to love this in the arcades! Never had any trouble as a lefty.

 

 

When the level starts, look for a 'sparkly' egg. Get this egg last. A 'warp pit' will open up. walk over the pit, and you'll move ahead 2-3 levels AND receive a 'warp bonus.'
