SKELETOR68 #26 Posted March 27, 2012 This happened back in 91, so I sold his Intellvision to another roomate with about 25 games for a dollar and got a coke from it. And left the empty can on his pillow. I think he is still pissed about it today, LOL
retroillucid #27 Posted March 27, 2012 As it stands my VENTURE says COLECO VISION Presents, on the top it says Coleco Vision VENTURE, on the VICTORY cart it says Victory for the COLECO VISION & Adam, top of cart says COLECO VISION & ADAM, hope this helps Ok, thanks for clarifying (as well as ColecoDan and Relik111). Indeed, you have the VERY COMMON label variations of Venture and Victory. The Venture label that reads "For ColecoVision & ADAM" only became known to us about 4 months ago and I "think" the Victory label variation that reads "Coleco Vision Presents" was a Coleco In-House label that only became available to the masses when former employees sold off their collections. I could be wrong concerning the "Coleco Vision Presents" label variation of Victory, but there are a couple clues that lead me to this thinking: the only box that was ever made for it reads "For the ColecoVision & ADAM Computer" the rare/uncommon "Coleco Vision Presents" label does not state "For use only with ColecoVision Roller Controller" how many people are actually known to own one... maybe a handful? The Victory ''For Colecovision only'' is one of the rarest Coleco (US) variants out there Pretty hard to come by, ....... the one I have have a poor label.... SADLY This is an official cart btw But the employee argument is a good one...... it could be this....
Gaztee #28 Posted April 6, 2012 Well I guess I am new to this section too. Again been on AA for years & never knew this was here. I purchased a coleco (none working) off eBay last week with 24 games & exp. module 1 (which was the real reason I bought one!) & roller controller all for £60, which I thought was pretty good! Actually I bought a copy of decathlon which was listed as a 2600 game, but the label led me to believe it was an 8-bit version, which is what I was after! And at £5 shipped from France I thought was worth a punt! Anyhoo, when it got here bit of research found it to be a coleco cart, which then got me to thinking of exp mod 1! Then saw the non worker on eBay, thought it may just be a psu issue (as had been the case with my NTSC 2600) so put a bid in & won. Arrived yesterday, but due to long day at work & being tired didn't unpack it til 2 hours ago! Decided to change fuse in plug before turning it on. Bit of blowing dust of the carts fiddling with tv & hey presto it lives - bonus the decathlon is a worker too! So what I'm basically trying to say here is hello
