A little bit o' booty found in the wild today

Among dusty shelves of 2600 cartridges in an out of the way mom & Pop game shop I found a Wico Command Control Joystick for $5, Gorf cartridge for $1 and Star Trek cartridge for $1. Is the Gorf cartridge rare?

Hmm - my old Gorf cart was yellow. Any difference?

I couldn't say this is my first Gorf cartridge.

I think Roklan used both yellow and brown carts. Most of mine are yellow but my Gorf and Wizard of Wor are brown. Gorf is definitely a good score fore a buck!

The Gorf cartridge looks exactly like mine. I have a vague recollection of also seeing it in yellow plastic. I do not believe it to be rare at all, but I consider it a very good port. It's one of my favorite cartridges.

The Star Trek cartridge is probably rarer than the Gorf, though I haven't looked at any online rarity lists.

Those Wico joysticks are the solidest and arguably best Atari-compatible joysticks ever made, though I am handier with the original 2600/VCS joysticks.

My carts from Roklan:

Gorf cart is brown.

Wizard of Wor is brown.

Deluxe Invaders is beige. (It could have been grey and the color has changed)

The labels are all yellow/white printing on blue. Never saw a Roklan card in blue plastic.

I had one of the yellow Gorf carts as a kid. Was a bit ugly and faded looking. Was a unique game.

I've actually seen more Star Trek than Gorf carts in the real world. Also a fun game. I still have it.

The Wico sticks are built like tanks. I have one but it's not as sensitive as it should be. I prefer the 2600-style joystick too, I'm much quicker with them. Maybe my Wico stick would be a bit better if I opened it up and rebuilt it some. I usually let the kids use the Wico stick so they don't kill my original joysticks.
