Nice colorations, José! But will this work with moving objects, too?

And there-s others, like STREET FIGHTER>

From the 5Levels of C64 version here you can see two of them but the same idea and colours&PMs its for all the others>

And if probably it wouldn-t work as 48bytes wide then, no problem as it is prepared to be squeezed into 40bytes seems same of ANTIC as 48 because of scrolling( but 32 ANTIC fetches to 48bytes and sure it can work>

Not to talk about that even less graphics details would overdo the poor little 6502.

But, why not having at least some 2-3 fps workable interactive slideshows. On the C64 they call 3D interactive slideshows...games. So why don't we....

Interesting to see it running.

...Nice to see you back... (except for one or two other interested threads, already noticed your creative absence...)

...Your latest round of "concepts" do look terrific, and seem to make the best use of what the A8bits-platform has to give. I would love to see one of those concepts fully ported or a basic / simple animated prototype. They just look awesome.

Bring'em on!

Do you think it's possible to have the guys moving?

GOLDEN AXE:

Only use PM2 and PM3 overlay on the two guys but would need to be 48bytes screen wide.

STREET FIGHTER:

It use PM0&PM1 on our guy and PM2&PM3 overlay (but not Oring PF2&PF3 to don't have clash)

As you can see it can be any of the 3wide mode.

EDIT:

Golden Axe is using GR.15 Bitmap 4colours to not have PF2&PF3 overlay clash.

And the guys are only P2&P3.

4Missiles as 5th Player PF3 is on the White of our sword.

Very nice work José!

.,..but, when would you like to build a complete archive of all your works? Or do you have less time for that?

That would be a work.

And what I do it's by impulse. I see a game and then start thinking how to... How it could look...

For example, now I don't have any game in mind nor if I will try any today or tomorrow. But at any moment I may remember or see one and then...

GOLDEN AXE:

GR.15 Bitmap 4colours Mode.

Only use P2 and P3 overlay on the two guys but would need to be 48bytes screen wide (I probably can get it in 32 or 40bytes wide Mode).

4Missiles joined as PF3colour on our Player weapon.

STREET FIGHTER:

ANTIC4

It use PM0&PM1 on our guy and PM2&PM3 overlay (but not Oring PF2&PF3 to don't have clash)

As you can see it can be any of the 3wide mode

Anyone here has an opinion if it is possible?

Videos if it helps you decide:

What's the theory behind colouring the players in Speedball? Are you mixing software and hardware sprites there as the time to do that would probably impact on the fluidty of the gameplay?
