A_Locomotive #1 Posted March 17, 2012 So later today I'm going to be babysitting, my brother is coming along to keep me company and we are planning on bringing a console to pass the time once she is down for the night. I was thinking of heading to my local retro store and picking up a new multiplayer game for us. So any recommendations? Some of the co-op games we have are Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country 1-3, Super Bomberman, He doesn't have any co-op games for his Genesis and I'm not even sure what there is available and sad as it is we have almost nothing for the NES. SoulBlazer #2 Posted March 17, 2012 Can't go wrong with some of the shoot-em-ups: Contra (NES) Super C (NES) Contra 3: The Alien Wars (SNES) There's also your shooters: Life Force (NES) Gradius 3 (SNES) Jackal for the NES is also a very fun co-op game. You also have the Koei sim games

+thegoldenband #6 Posted March 18, 2012 Stinger is a great NES co-op shooter with a quirky gameplay dynamic. My girlfriend and I played it for a while tonight -- she's not generally a fan of shooters, but she liked it a lot.

A_Locomotive #10 Posted March 18, 2012 Thanks for all the suggestions! I'll check these out when I get the chance. Wasn't able to get to the store last night but instead we ended up playing a little Donkey Kong Country 3 and some Secret of Mana.
