I need help in my search for a C= 1084 monitor door

I have a Commodore 1084S monitor I use with my Atari. The door on it is broken and won't stay in place. I need a replacement. I'm hoping someone here may own a 1084 that is in non-working condition that they have a good adjustment dial door on it that could be bought, traded or given. Please help me with my very annoying first-world problem. I'm about to custom paint the 1084 with colors to perfectly match the XL line, so any door doesn't have to look nice, it will be painted, just not broken so I can attach it and close it.

I have one that just broke and found your post! What you end up doing? One tab broke on mine the other is fine. Damn C= !

I have at least one dead monitor like this but am unsure of the condition of the doors.

I ended up using 2 small discs of Velcro; I had one velcro disk (left and right sides) and I stuck each half on opposite sides of the door (at the top of what is left of the broken door hinges). This allows the door to still be pressed into place and the velcro halves are just thin enough to fit in the crack between door and monitor and be thick enough to hold the door in place and is still easily removed for panel access.
