t.skid #2 Posted January 21, 2003 I know that lot of people will disagree... but I still remember Brataccas It works under Mono and color monitor. Too bad I still didn't find an original Brataccas: all the .st images seems to freeze during the game.

sonnenhexer #6 Posted January 21, 2003 I remember a game called "Ballerburg", it was for monchrome and (sadly) only in german, but big fun. 2 castles with cannons and the aim was to destroy the other castle. Michael
Lord-Chaos #7 Posted January 22, 2003 I finally got my ST to work...but still only have a monochrome monitor! Can anyone recommend some good mono games to me? The Lucasfilm Adventures (Maniac Mansion,Indy,Zak,Monkey Island) , all the Infocom text-adventures , the Magnetic Scrolls adventures , the puzzle-game Oxyd , the actiongame Spacola , the HASCs Ultima-like rpgs (most of them german only) , or Hack/Nethack/Larn/Rogue (ASCII based rpgs - there´s also a graphical version of Nethack) etc. + lots of Public Domain /freeware games - action/platform/puzzles/breakoout games etc. There are lots of places where you can get PD/freeware - Internet or ATARI CD collections. There also is an color-monitor-emulator on which some color games work , but it is rather slow. Thimo

Michael Thats a a great game, I used to play a similar game on early Mac's and then saw it migrate over to the ST's, its simple but very addictive. Inky #12 Posted January 23, 2003 If you can find it... Skulldiggery! If you like boulderdash, you'll love this one. I also found Universal Military Simulator to be strangely compelling as well.
+Sauron #13 Posted January 24, 2003 I remember Brattacus. That was one of the first games I had for my ST. Could never figure out much about it, but liked how you could kill pretty much anyone, even those needed to advance the "plot". The controls were absolutely horrible, and your guy moved slower than molasses moving uphill in January. Was fun for a while, though. Also, didn't MIDI-Maze have a monochrome mode? sonnenhexer #14 Posted January 25, 2003 Also, didn't MIDI-Maze have a monochrome mode? AFAIK: No

Sinigord #21 Posted July 19, 2003 You can play Asteroids on mono. You can download it from http://www.kewlplace.com/sinister You can also play the other ST games on your PC if you use the STEEM emulator. Just do a search for STEEM on google and you'll find it.
