Atarian7 #1 Posted April 3, 2012 Title says it all. If you have some you want to sell give me a price. Thanks
Rockin' Kat #3 Posted April 3, 2012 I think it'd be easier to just spend the ~$6 per pot and buy brand new pots from best electronics and replace the ones in your current paddles. They have like a $20 minimum, so you'd just need to buy four and then you'd have enough to get two paddle sets going with no doubts about it working. After that it'd just be a matter of finding three other people to play warlords with. Yes, there would be soldering involved, but it's pretty low on difficulty level. SlammedNiss #4 Posted April 4, 2012 I just picked up a set off eBay for $10 shipped. It cost the seller $9.40 to ship them via Priority, so I don't know how he made any money. But anyway, they worked really well, and only one had slight jitter issues. But there are a few tech write-ups that explain how to take them apart (super-simple) and clean the contacts with rubbing alcohol to get rid of the grease build-up. Rockin' Kat #5 Posted April 4, 2012 I just picked up a set off eBay for $10 shipped. It cost the seller $9.40 to ship them via Priority, so I don't know how he made any money. I assure you, he didn't make money. He lost money when you add fees to that cost. What he did was learn that offering free shipping is pretty much never a good idea for items less than $18, because it's getting harder to ship much of anything for less than $10. He'd have been better off throwing them in the trash. (not that I'm saying that's a nice thing to do... but really, it would have cost him less)

It was $3.99 + $6.00 "economy" shipping. But, it might have been one of those instances where it was cheaper to send Piority instead of Parcel. I'm sure he was expecting it to fetch more, as they usually go for about $15 +/- shipped.
Atarian7 #7 Posted April 4, 2012 Thanks for the advice. I thought I would try here before ebay.
Grig #8 Posted April 4, 2012 the.golden.ax sells jitter free paddles for $10 plus shipping (about $15 total). I just bought a pair and they work great. Also, he's a heck of a nice guy so try sending a PM to him.
Rex Dart #9 Posted April 4, 2012 Yeah; if you're looking for any system or accessory, it's worth a try to give the.golden.ax a pm.
+boxpressed #10 Posted April 5, 2012 I've never met a pair of paddles that remained jittery after I shot some contact cleaner into the pots. However, some will revert to jittery after a few days.
