LinkoVitch #1 Posted April 17, 2012 Back from another top Retro/Atari weekend in France! Despite GazTee managing to book us in the most minging hotel complete with it's own plague bed I had a good time Thanks again to the organisers of the event, and to those that attended and made it possible, was great as always to see familiar faces and see some new ones. Although I am very much glad to be back in blighty and in my own flat again Think I screwed up with my coding competition entry, aimed way way too high, not enough preparation or planning on my part. This was further proven when I knocked together a quick Proof-of-Concept game in an hour on the ferry using just my laptop and an old release of VJ! DOH! now to invent a time machine and go back and re-enter! Matmook's entry certainly deserved to win, brilliant concept and the extra feature was so seamlessly integrated into it GroovyBee's letterbox coding skills were also mightily impressive, the fact the man can still see and use his hands is a feat of wonder in it's own right! Once again, sh3-rg had some stonking stuff from Reboot on display, raising the bar yet further! Just finished setting up the Jag and Skunk in their usual place, time to get back on with some devving funs
+GroovyBee #3 Posted April 17, 2012 It was a ton of fun! I'm looking forward to next years event. Well... if I can prepare better and not have to do game development on a Libretto .

sh3-rg #11 Posted April 17, 2012 (edited) Join the RGC facebook group, there are 2 events AC & RGC each year. Never been to RGC but visited the last two AC and they were both great - lots of Ataris and assorted wonderful machines everywhere! sh3-rg #15 Posted April 19, 2012 Here's a sped up walkabout of AC2012. I think I made this fairly early on Saturday before the MSX guys & others were set up and had to stop half way through as I was called up to get soundly beaten at Medieval Mayhem, so check the photos for all the machines. http://youtu.be/jOcQFb6CzeQ
