Brad2600 #1 Posted January 22, 2003 I recieved the 16 games I won for my o2 on Ebay today and before I hook it up, I need to clarify something: A NES power supply will work on it, right? My NES power supply plugs into the jack on the o2 but I need to know the exact voltage rating that the o2 takes so I don't fry it when playing it for the first time. Also, I plan to post my reviews of all the o2 games I have once I play them.
BIG EARL #2 Posted January 22, 2003 I dont know how trust worthy this site is but here is where I find most of my power supply alternatives and they seem to work fine. http://users.erols.com/tiltonj/games/tech/power.html The Odyssey2 power supply is Output: 11.5 VAC 400mA Input: 115 VAC 60Hz 12W
Brad2600 #3 Posted January 23, 2003 My Odyssey2 worked very well with the NES power supply so that's all I needed to know. The games are very simple and pale in comparision to 2600 and Intellivision games, as well as Colecovision games. I don't really mind that because I'm glad I jumped at the chance to own an Odyssey2. It's a neat little system and I have 16 games. Bowling is pretty good and it seems to be the only game that I really enjoyed but I will look for more titles like K.C Munchkin and Pick Axe Pete. It's a must have for anyone who will collect anything. I don't discriminate when it comes to collecting.
