No VHS tapes or DVDs to send in the mail to get your score verified - in most cases just a photo attached to a forum post! We take scores via live streams as well. And there's always something going on: contests, Game of the Month, tournaments and you can earn forum tokens for participating! You can then redeem your forum tokens for classic gaming items! That Month of Colecovision highscores was a ton of fun I was wondering if you where planning on doing that again sometime? I got my title back from Ed on Burger Time with 111,400 You can post scores at any time. As a matter of fact, players at times create their own competitions by battling it out on single titles. Most recently, Pac-Mania (NES) and Missile Command (2600). I believe you're referring to Token Mania, where players earn 1000 tokens each time they beat another player's high score. That will be returning in December. Meanwhile, for you ColecoVision players, we will be having a ColecoVision title as Game of the Month for September and a ColecoVision tournament in October where you can earn some nice prizes. And remember - all of this is free! Next week, our second tournament season kicks off with the Arcade Summer Showdown presented by PatrickScottPatterson.com beginning July 26 where you can win a Retrocade Magazine prize pack containing DVDs and other goodies. Then, in August we have a 10 game Vectrex tournament called Vector War II sponsored by Revival Studios where the winner will win a copy of the game Shifted along with a Vector War II t-shirt. Again, no entry fees and forum registration is free. And don't forget you earn tokens for participating on the forums which you can redeem on classic gaming items like magazines, books and of course game cartridges.
