Dead Intellivision carts for free

Recommended Posts

I have the following three dead Intellivision carts for free. I'll even pay the shipping cost. You can use them for homebrews, Cuttle Cart 3 or whatever you'd like. :) Just send me a PM.

The carts are:

Reversi

Frogger

Space Battle

Maybe contact Rev. He supplies carts to a few different homebrewers, I'm sure he could use them.

Since Atari2008 originally got these from me*, let me add a couple details:

Space Battle -- white-label INTV version of the game. When I had it, it would boot to the title screen, then immediately crash. No screwholes on the case, so it wouldn't be an ideal donor cart unless someone's feeling enterprising.

Frogger -- couldn't get this to boot at all. The case is relatively clean, so if someone has a trashy Frogger and wants to swap cases, or has the skills to make a Super Cobra/Tutankham repro... :D

Reversi -- Atari2008, you can't get this one to work at all? On my system it'd eventually play with some coaxing, but I found that it was unstable and tended to crash. Can't remember whether it was had triangular or Philips-head screws, or was a one-piece case.

Anyway, glad to see these are continuing to make the rounds, and kudos to Atari2008 for even paying shipping. :) I always wanted to figure out exactly what was wrong with them...

*(for free, mind you! I was hoping he might be able to revive them with DeOxit)

Hey goldenband! :) I wasn't able to get Reversi to work at all - just a colored screen. Same with Frogger. Space Battle was exactly as you said, it would boot up on the title screen and then crash. I'd add that the carts look fine on the outside and there doesn't seem to be any dirt on the contacts. So maybe someone who can take them apart can get them back to life. I'm not very tech savvy so I'll leave that for the lucky recipient. :)
